about us

I SEE! Scotland was developed by the ICthinking® Research Group based in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge.

The I SEE! Scotland course equips people, organisations, and communities with:
  • increased skills to lower tension during conflict

  • enhanced capacities to self-regulate their reactions (biological, cognitive, emotional, social) in the face of difference and disagreement for more pro-social outcomes

Since 2012, we have built partnerships with community and youth organisations, schools, professional networks, and prisons across Scotland where I SEE! Scotland Co-Facilitators are delivering the course to promote public mental health and peace, justice, and strong institutions (UN Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 16).
